In the fall of 2024, the church board made the thoughtful decision to keep the existing school fully under the ministry of the church, rather than pursuing separate 501(c)(3) status for the school. While this decision reinforces the school's identity as a ministry, it also limits access to outside funding for expansion, placing the responsibility for future space needs primarily on the church.
During this time, Mr. Haynes felt God leading him in a new direction. In November, he established a nonprofit organization called Vectors of Grace. Although there were no immediate plans for a new school, this step was taken in obedience to God’s prompting and to lay a foundation, should the need arise.
By January, that calling became clear. Mr. Haynes made the difficult decision to resign his current position as principal in order to begin preparing for the launch of a new school, with the goal of opening in August 2026. His hope was to continue teaching during the transition, though he left that decision to the discretion of the church leadership.
