Oakwood Academy Athletics
Home of the Warhawks!
At Oakwood Academy, athletics are more than competition — they're an extension of our mission to develop the whole child. Through sport, our student-athletes grow in discipline, resilience, and character while learning what it means to honor God and others both on and off the court.

Our Program
Oakwood Athletics offers opportunities for students beginning in 3rd grade, with programs designed to meet athletes at every level — from those discovering a sport for the first time to those ready to compete at their best. We are proud members of the Missouri Christian School Athletic Association (MCSAA), competing against fellow Christian schools across the state.
Our current sports include:
-
Cross Country
-
Boys & Girls Volleyball
-
Boys & Girls Basketball
-
Baseball
-

Additional sports are being developed for the 2026–27 school year as our program continues to grow.
Our Philosophy
We believe every student who wants to compete should have the chance to do so. Our coaches are committed to building programs where participation and excellence go hand in hand — where younger athletes develop foundational skills and a love for the game, and where older athletes are challenged to push themselves and lead by example.

Character and faith are at the center of everything we do. Our athletes learn to win with humility, lose with grace, and treat every opponent and official with respect. We want our teams to be known not only for how they play, but for who they are.

Community & School Spirit
Oakwood athletics bring our school family together. Whether it's a packed gym on a game night or families cheering at a baseball game, our games and events are some of the best expressions of the close-knit community that makes Oakwood special. We invite you to come out and cheer on the Warhawks!

2025–26 Highlights
In just our inaugural year, Oakwood Athletics has already made its mark. Our girls volleyball team captured the MCSAA state tournament Division 3 championship — a testament to the hard work of our players and the strength of the program we are building.
