The flexibility of home. The credibility of Oakwood.

Our Satellite Learning Program lets your family teach at home while your child is enrolled as a full Oakwood Academy student - earning an official diploma and transcript.

HOW IT WORKS

You teach. We credential.

As a satellite family, you deliver daily instruction at home using the BJU Press curriculum provided by Oakwood Academy. Our Satellite Program Coordinator works alongside you to ensure your child stays on track and on pace.

This is not a virtual school or online program. You are your child's daily teacher. Oakwood Provides the structure, standards, and credentials behind your work.

Weekly Work Submissions

Submit quizzes and assignments weekly. You grade daily work; our Coordinator grades quizzes and spot-checks for quality.

Monthly Check-Ins

Meet with your Coordinator monthly for progress reviews, instructional coaching, and planning for the month ahead.

On-Campus Testing

Unit tests and exams are taken on our campus on designated Tuesdays and Wednesdays, ensuring academic integrity.

Quarterly Report Cards

Formal grades issued on Oakwood's standard scale, based on weekly submissions, test scores, and assessments.
