Middle school at Oakwood Academy is where students begin to find their voice and step into bolder faith. In 7th and 8th grade, students encounter more challenging coursework while continuing to receive the personal attention and mentorship that define our school.

Our language arts program deepens students' ability to think critically about literature and express themselves clearly in writing. Math and science courses grow in complexity, building the analytical skills students will need in high school and beyond. Social studies broadens to explore the connections between historical events and contemporary society, encouraging students to think like informed, responsible citizens.

Electives allow students to begin exploring their interests beyond core academics, from creative arts to technology. Throughout it all, our teachers serve as mentors who help students navigate the unique challenges of adolescence with confidence and conviction — growing from the roots planted in elementary into young people ready to own what they believe and why.
